As we have discussed both on here and on the show, the October 6th release of 'CHRISTMAS - Elvis with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra', has been a major screw-up, and
as such, the chance of Elvis getting his first ever UK number one Christmas album, let alone his 14th UK album chart topper was going to be impossible.

Well, in it's first week on the UK album chart, 'CHRISTMAS' made it's debut at number 22. BUT, due to Sony releasing this festive offering soooooooooooo early, sales have been
very bad, so bad that the first UK Midweek Album Charts dated 16th October 2017 see's 'CHRISTMAS - Elvis with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra' plummets down the UK album
chart from #22 down to #61.

So what should we expect when the album is re-released on 24th November of the Extended Edition (4 extra tracks)?

Our man on the inside, Brian Quinn tells us that we could expect the Deluxe Edition to go into the Top 10 following a promised TV advertising Campaign from Sony (UK). Sales
should also be helped by the 6 date concert tour of the UK which will be coinciding with the re-release date as should the 'Elvis On Tour' Exhibition at the 02 where the album will
also be on sale.

Meanwhile, on the actual Physical Album Sales chart, 'CHRISTMAS' entered at #10

Over the pond in the USA,
'CHRISTMAS - Elvis with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra' is sitting pretty at #1 on the Classical Album Charts for the week of 28th October.
Also rising back up the Classical Album Chart is,
‘The Wonder Of You, Elvis with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra' which climbs rises from 13 to 7 on the same chart.
