TUNZI BOOK CLAIMS, LIES OR TRUTH?
February 23, 2017  -   EIN   /  Elvis Express Radio
With the news first announced back in December 2016 that Erik Lorentzen's exciting new book project 'ELVIS IN PERSON, ONE NIGHT IN TORONTO' will be commemorating one
of the 60th Anniversary of Elvis' only concert performances outside of the United States, fans have been getting ready to add what we're sure will be a must have addition to their
collections.

Well now we see, as reported by our friends at EIN, JAT Publishing have now announced that he's next book is to be titled,
'Encore Performance Volume VI,:57 at 60 One Night
with Elvis'.
So, Joe Tunzi has announced a book which is exactly the same subject as Erik Lorentzen's book that was announced last year!

Tunzi's newly announced book is set for a Spring release and clearly states that the book
will feature photos of Elvis Presley, from the John Sebert collection, that were taken on
April 2, 1957 at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada. These photographs are taken from the original negative sources rather than lower quality scans you might find in other
publications
.

JAT information says the book will retail at $39.95 plus around $35.00 for shipping & handling (approx $74.95 total) and will include roughly 250 photos.

Regarding the issue of "original negatives', Tunzi claims that the images in his book are taken from the originals. HOWEVER, we're reliably informed that the photo's in Erik's book
are also from the "original negatives". So which one is telling the truth?

Let's find out.....

Right then, December 2016, Erik Lorentzen announced the April 2017 release of a new book
'ELVIS IN PERSON: ONE NIGHT IN TORONTO' to commemorate the 60th
Anniversary of the show in Canada

February 2017, Joseph Tunzi announce the Spring 2017 release of a new book
'Encore Performance Volume VI,:57 at 60 One Night with Elvis', Tunzi claims "The book will
feature photos of Elvis Presley, from the John Sebert collection taken from the original negative sources rather than lower quality scans you might find in other publications"
.

We can now bring you the TRUTH of the claims and can confirm (thanks to EIN) that Erik Lorentzen has supplied 100% rock solid PROOF that Tunzi's claims are just not true and
that only Lorentzen's book will be featuring the John Sebert collection taken from the original negatives......

The following statement is written confirmation direct from the Manager of Copyright Services at Library and Archives Canada..
."Please be assured that the John Sebert images
you obtained from Library and Archives Canada are from the original negatives held here. We have since spoken with Mr. Tunzi of JAT publishing. He did not have copies from the
original negatives. He had only prints of contact sheets. Mr. Tunzi is now well aware that the copyright on all of the images in the John Sebert fonds belongs to Library and Archives
Canada."
- Manager, Copyright Services, Library and Archives Canada.

It's very disappointing to have such a blatant outright lie be told in order to deceive potential customers place orders for a book promising..."
original negative sources rather than
lower quality scans you might find in other publications"
.
