The King is officially back at No.1 on the UK Album Charts for the 13th time since first hitting the UK Number One spot 60 years

What must be remembered about the success of this album is that Elvis, fans and the general public made it possible without having the publicity that was accorded to the 'If I Can
Dream' release.

It did not have the Joanna Lumley/Priscilla Presley Documentary 'Elvis And Me' and did not have any sales from the 02 Exhibition. There was also limited TV exposure. I personally
have still not seen the TV advert. Finally, as usual, record stores selling only Physical albums ran out of stock during the last few days.

Needless to say 'The Wonder Of You' [TWOY] does not appear in the Top 100 Album Streaming Chart.

An amazing feat and one which can only enhance Elvis' Legacy.

I applaud those fans who went the extra mile and bought extra copies for Christmas presents. A BIG WELL DONE.

Talent always wins out in the end.

Now really looking forward to the IF I CAN DREAM Tour which should be amazing.

Elvis Presley breaks all-time Official Albums Chart record with 13th Number 1

ELVIS Presley is still The King of the Official Chart almost 40 years after his passing, as his new album The Wonder Of You earns him a historic 13th Number 1 this week.

It also marks the most Number 1 albums achieved by any solo artist in the UK ever.

The second collection of orchestral re-workings of Elvis’ hits with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (following last year’s chart-topping, million selling If I Can Dream) shifted 63,500
to land straight in at Number 1.

While 13 may be an unlucky number for some, for Elvis it means a new chart record has been set - The King now has more Number 1 albums than any solo act in Official Chart
history, overtaking Madonna’s 12 chart-toppers.

The Beatles hold the overall record for the most chart-topping albums in the UK, with 15 to their name.

Priscilla Presley told OfficialCharts.com: “This achievement is something I know Elvis would have been so thankful for.

"I am incredibly proud of all he has accomplished and so grateful to the UK fans who have kept his legacy alive with all of their support. I hope they continue to listen and love his
music as much as I do.”

Elvis also claims the largest span between Number 1 albums by the same artist, having scored his first Number 1 record 60 years ago with Elvis Presley Rock N’ Roll in 1956, a
particularly apt achievement as the Official Albums Chart itself celebrates its 60th anniversary throughout this year.
After 7 days of release, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) has confirmed that THE WONDER OF YOU, Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has at this point,
sold over 60,000 units and has now been certified 'Silver'.
