ELVIS LIVE WITH THE RPO...OR NOT ACTUALLY
October 18, 2016  -  Elvis Information Network  /  Elvis Express Radio
Who in their right mind would set up a tour around the world on the global success of the collaboration of Elvis with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra then NOT use the actual
orchestra?

EPE of course!

The worldwide success of 'IF I CAN DREAM', the first album joining Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra [RPO] took many people by surprise and with new hit stats
and awards, it didn't take too long for EPE to jump on the idea of bringing the success of the concept from the album to the live stage.

The success of Elvis with the RPO in the UK was massive, leaving the decision of where to launch a new live show pretty easy...and so the UK would kick off this new live venture.

Produced by Elvis Presley Enterprises,
'ELVIS IN CONCERT with the ROYAL PHILHARMONIC CONCERT ORCHESTRA - IF I CAN DREAM TOUR 2016' kicks off around the UK
in November 2016.

Now, with the release of the 2nd Elvis & RPO album, 'THE WONDER OF YOU', UK fans will get to experience the King with this world class orchestra performing many of the great
songs featured on these two hit albums.

But believe it or not, the UK fans will not only be the first to hear Elvis and the RPO perform live together, they will also be the LAST – Oh yes, now that EPE have announced the
2017 'THE WONDER OF YOU TOUR' for May, June, July in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, the promotion now advertises ELVIS with A Symphony Orchestra or a 40 piece
Orchestra.

Remember, these tours are produced by EPE and the whole reason for these tours are due to the success of Elvis Presley with ROYAL Philharmonic Orchestra. This is the sound
and effect which has attracted so many fans around the world, but in what can only be exercise EPE wanting to maximise profits to the fullest, they have decided to drop the RPO in
favour of using local orchestras.

While I am sure these "local" orchestra's are very good, the question has to be asked are they anywhere near as good as the world famous RPO? They'll certainly be a hell of a lot
cheaper....oh my, the old carny Parker would be so proud.

We've had Elvis' original TCB band, Jordanaires, Stamps, Sweets etc performing with IMPS over the years, and now EPE has Elvis performing with RPO IMPS.....OMG!

BUT, at least the 2017 European Tour will still have Priscilla on stage for a few minuets to interrupt the show, but as far as I understand, the Australian and New Zealand fans will
not even be getting that little appearance. Maybe, if they drop Priscilla from the UK and European Tours, they'd be able to afford to have the RPO like they're supposed to in the
first place.

EPE, never cease to amaze (or maybe bemuse) me?
