Starring Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon as Elvis Presley and two-time Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey as Richard Nixon, comes the untold true story behind this

For decades, the most requested image from the National Archives has been an image featuring a meeting between music icon Elvis Presley and President Richard Nixon in 1970.
The story of this iconic meeting has finally made it to the big screen in the new movie Elvis & Nixon. It tells the story about Elvis Presley (Michael Shannon) visiting President Richard
Nixon (Kevin Spacey) at the White House. The meeting was initiated by Presley, who wrote Nixon a six-page letter requesting a visit and suggesting that he be made a 'Federal
Agent-at-Large' in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. Presley brought with him family photos and a Colt 45 pistol as a personal gift to the President.

The untold true story behind the meeting between the King of Rock 'n Roll and President Nixon, resulting in this revealing, yet humorous moment immortalized in the most
requested photograph in the National Archives. This intimate moment in the Oval office between two men at the height of their powers has never been told. Amazon Studios and
Bleecker Street Media are releasing the movie in theaters nationwide this spring. History will live on the big screen yet again starting April 22.

The supporting cast includes Evan Peters, Alex Pettyfer, Colin Hanks, Johnny Knoxville, Tracy Letts, Tate Donovan, Ashley Benson and singer Sky Ferreira. Elvis & Nixon is
directed by Liza Johnson (Hateship Loveship) from a screenplay by Joe Sagal, Hanala Sagal and Cary Elwes. Elvis & Nixon will face quite a bit of competition when it hits theaters
this spring.
