Elvis first appeared on the front cover of America's TV Guide on September 9th 1956.
This first issue featured part 1 of a 3 part interview which was carried over the following
2 issues on 22nd & 29th September 1956 (pictured).
Elvis next appeared on TV Guide for the May 7th 1960 issue when the magazine celebrated Elvis' return to entertainment after his 2 years
in the U.S. Army with an appearance on a special Frank Sinatra show 'Welcome Home Elvis'. Elvis and Frank both shared the cover and
inside was a colour photo of Elvis from the show, along with an article and a full page advert for the TV special. It would be 13 years until
Elvis would appear on the cover again.
